When you shortchange your family, you are telling them that work is more important than they are. And i dont care how you say it. I dont care if you get on your high horse and proclaim, "well, if i didnt work we wouldnt have a house and vacations and nice things". I dont care what you say. What it boils down to is that work is more important to you than they are. I dont know of one person who, on their death bed, said, "i wish i had spent more time at the office".
